To achieve this, we continually optimise our transport processes and fleet, and regularly review the situation in the transport and logistics sector. Our goal is to ensure that sustainability and efficiency go hand in hand without compromise in the future.

more sustainable concepts
The latest generation of vehicles is indispensable in today's transport world. Our fleet is equipped with the most innovative engine and tyre technologies. We actively reduce CO2 emissions by using payload-optimised vehicles and maximising the payload on almost every run. We use advanced IT processes for route and order planning to avoid empty runs.
We have also been investing in renewable energy for some time. The solar system on the roof of our warehouse generates around 80% of our total electricity needs at our Wesel operations centre. Further investments are already being planned.
Another important step towards achieving a greener footprint was our investment in our bulk goods terminal in Wesel in 2020. The new facility is allowing us to move the majority of our transport operations from road to water. This is not only more efficient economically, but also reduces our impact on the environment.
